product description
YETI EXPANSION Plus II (3D) – Precision Investment Material
YETI EXPANSION Plus II (3D) is a fine-grained, phosphate-bonded precision investment material for crown and bridge work. It features maximum possible expansion, making it ideal for non-precious metal alloys (NEM) and pressable ceramics. It offers flexible application using either the rapid speed heating process or the traditional step-by-step heating procedure.
Your Advantages at a Glance:
- Maximum Expansion: Precise control for optimal fit in non-precious alloy restorations and pressable ceramics.
- Flexible Processing: Suitable for speed burnout as well as conventional step heating.
- Excellent Flowability: Fine-grained consistency ensures detailed reproduction.
- High Compressive Strength: Ensures stability and reliability during casting.

Processing Instructions
- Speed Burnout: After 20 minutes setting time, the muffle can be placed directly into the preheated furnace (suitable for muffle sizes X1 to X6).
- Final Temperatures:
- Gold alloys: 700–750 °C
- Bonding alloys / Pressable ceramics: 800–850 °C
- Non-precious metal alloys (NEM): 900 °C
- Storage: Store dry at room temperature (~21 °C). Protect liquid from frost (< 5 °C causes loss of usability). Shelf life: 24 months.
Safety Note: The investment material contains reduced amounts of quartz[cite: 1]. Avoid breathing dust. For professional dental technology use only.
